Every step, visible before you walk in.
Click any card to see exactly what happens at that stage — what documents to bring, how long it takes, and who's involved. Nothing hidden.
Initial Intake
A 30-minute conversation — no forms required to start. Just show up.
What happens at intake
A workforce navigator sits with you, listens to your situation, and maps out a path. No judgment. No pressure. We start where you are.
What to bring
- Tribal enrollment card or CDIB
- Photo ID (any form)
- Optional: last pay stub or résumé
Skills Assessment
Find out what you already know — and where you want to go next.
How we assess your skills
A one-hour guided conversation and optional WorkKeys assessment. We look at work history, life skills, and your own goals — not just what a test says.
What to bring
- Completed intake form (from Step 1)
- Any prior certifications or licenses
Training Enrollment
CDL, welding, healthcare aide, IT support — real credentials, zero cost to you.
Training programs available
We fund tuition, tools, and transportation for approved programs. Current cohorts include CDL Class A, CNA, Forklift, and Microsoft Office Specialist.
What to bring
- Skills assessment results
- High school diploma or GED (waived for some programs)
- Childcare documentation if requesting support funds
Job Matching
We know the local employers who hire and keep tribal members.
How job matching works
Our employer network includes 40+ local businesses, tribal enterprises, and government agencies with active commitments to tribal hiring. We introduce you — they expect your call.
What to bring
- Completed training certificate or existing credentials
- Updated résumé (we help you build it)
Interview Prep
Practice until the real thing feels familiar, not frightening.
What interview prep includes
Two one-hour sessions with a workforce coach. Mock interviews, wage negotiation scripts, and a printed question-and-answer guide you keep. Available in English and Salish.
What to bring
- Job description for target role
- Your résumé
Post-Placement Support
We stay in your corner for 90 days after your start date.
90-day retention program
Your navigator checks in at 30, 60, and 90 days. If something isn't working — the commute, the hours, a conflict — we problem-solve before it becomes a quit.
What to bring
- Employer contact information
- Pay stub from first paycheck (for our records)

People who walked through that door.
Real members. Real outcomes. Updated each quarter with new placements.

"I walked in not knowing what a CDL even cost. Walked out with an enrollment date, a stipend, and someone's direct number. Eleven weeks later I had my Class A."
Marcus Bighorse
Enrolled member, returned from Portland

"My navigator helped me fill out the application on her phone because mine was broken. She didn't make me feel stupid. She made me feel like I belonged here."
Charlene Swiftwind
Elder, first job search in 12 years

"I was between harvests and broke. Sovereign got me a forklift cert in three weeks and an interview the same day I passed. First paycheck came nine days after intake."
Dillon Runningwater
Seasonal agricultural worker
